The Premium Security Training Event
MARCH 22 TO APRIL 2, 2004 - BARCELONA
 

SUBMISSION DEADLINE FOR SPEAKER AND TRAINER POSITIONS IS DECEMBER 31st, 2003. ALL POSITIONS WILL BE ASSIGNED BY JANUARY 15th, 2004.

SPEAKERS AND TRAINERS
ISECOM is bringing international speakers and trainers from around the world to teach at ISESTORM. More than one speaker or trainer may be selected for various subjects. All speakers and trainers must bring their own presentations, workbooks, and interactive projects. All speakers and trainers will receive promotion and recognition on the ISESTORM and ISECOM websites.

Trainers:

  • Trainers must be experts with at least 3-5 years field experience and certification holders in the topics they teach. This includes CISSP, BSI or BS7799 Auditor, and OPSA.

  • Trainers may be teaching for up to 8 hours per day.

Speakers:

  • Speakers must be experts in the topic presenting with 3 to 5 years of experience.

  • Speakers will be presenting 60 to 90 minutes and work interactively with the students for an additional 30 to 60 minutes.

      2. a short (1 paragraph) biography focusing on expertise
      3. a list of trainings/presentations provided
      4. English proficiency and other languages
      5. Sample materials (for quality overview). Do not e-mail more than 1 Mb.
      6. Pay rate and travel pay requirements.


INTERNSHIPS

There are 10 internship positions available for unpaid, event assistance and group dynamics. Interns will be working with the event instructors and students and have the opportunity to watch and learn. All interns will receive proof of work experience and may be chosen for further ISECOM internships possibly internationally and other training attendance.

  • Interns must be Computer Science, Technology, or Computer Networking students with good grades.

  • Interns must be outgoing and prepared to help all attendees, trainers, and speakers.

  • Interns may be required to do data collection, security testing, and other types of assistance for the class. Some experience in security testing is helpful but not required.

  • Interns are required to meet the time schedule provided.

  • Interns must apply with the following:

1.a resume (CV)
2.a short (1 paragraph) biography focusing on interests
3.a reference in English, Catalan, Spanish, or German from an employer or University professor
4.English proficiency and other languages
