April 2007 - BARCELONA

This is a security certification review and training event which focuses on the application of knowledge to enable the student to take what is learned back into the real world and actually apply it immediately. Many training courses focus on certification preparation.  ISESTORM is a certification application.

  • If you have one of the certifications already
We recommend you sit for the whole course as the information, the trainer, and the experience is all at the highest quality level.  Not to be mistaken with a cram or bootcamp, ISESTORM improves learning and successfully passing the certification exams through interaction.

  • If you want to take the OPST exam
The OSSTMM Professional Security Tester exam is provided April 8th for any attendee who is interested in sitting for it however, only with a 1-hour review.  To take the exam, interested students must bring a laptop with Linux or which works with a Live Linux CD designed for auditing such as the OSSTMM Auditor CD from ISECOM Switzerland based on Gentoo Linux.

  • If you want to take the CISSP exam
You will be prepared to take the exam at your convinience at any of the official locations. However the exam is no longer available through isestorm.

This is a premium event designed to maximize your educational experience and complete your applied security knowledge for use everyday in the workplace. At ISESTORM you are transported into a learning bubble for 6 full days of concentrated, interactive learning with industry specialists, provided in class with a fresh breakfast, a gourmet lunch, and snacks and beverages all inclusive until the end of the day.  And interactive learning means there are no shortcuts. You will be in the perfect environment to work hard, accomplish the goals of the course, and learn to “walk the walk” in the real world of security while walking out with 3 independent security certifications.

The pricing has been subsidized by ISECOM as part of ISECOM’s 501(c)(3) non-profit goals of providing security education to the public.   The training is all in English but student assistants and interns can assist with translations from Spanish and Catalan.71683 visits (3 today, 20 this week)
