OSSTMM AUDITORS
- ISECOM LICENSED AUDITORS
The ISECOM Licensed Auditor (ILA) program provides quality assurance and
support for obtaining OSSTMM Certified Audits from a properly accredited
auditing body such a company or an organization. ISECOM Licensed Auditors
carry the ISECOM brand and represent the OSSTMM as both a methodology and
a badge of quality auditing. All ISECOM Licensed Auditors
are subject to document and on-site inspections to assure
that they meet the logistical and applied knowledge
requirements for performing scientifically accurate
security tests according to the latest public version of the OSSTMM.
This has nothing to do with the use of the OSSTMM. It only means these
companies we have inspected for quality and ability and are approved by
ISECOM. It is not necessary to be an ILA to use the OSSTMM in any
capacity. However to provide an OSSTMM Certified Audit which is
certifiable and recognizable by ISECOM then you need to accept our
quality control standards.
ACCREDITATION MODEL
The ILA Accreditation Model requires all auditors maintain their level of
accreditation through a minimum of OSSTMM certified staff with grades of
"B" or better from the OPSA and OPST, and some levels require additional
certifications from ISECOM's OPSE, OWSE, HHST, or similar certificatons.
Furthermore, ILA accredititaion requires periodic inspection of
documentation, reports, and even on-site facilities when specific
acceditation requires it.
